There are multiple performances by different history and culture group at the wild hog festival.
The Badland Texas Rangers is a living history and reenactment group that was formed to continue the history of the Texas Rangers.The rangers cover the history of the Frontier Battalion of company āDā which served from far below DelRio to San Antonio and to the Gulf Coast,down to Browsville,to Laredo and back up below to Del Rio.
The group was formed with permission of the Texas Rangers Senior Captain and chief of the Texas Rangers, Bruce Casteel.
The living history group provides history reenactments of the period between the years of 1874,when the battalion was first created,through 1901 when the battalion came to an end.It includes displays of a Battalion Ranger Camp,pistols,rifles,saddles and tac,photographs of both recent and old Rangers.They dress up in clothing boots,weapons,gun belts and holsters,saddles,tac as well as hats and other accessories of that time.At many events the group will have the historical gun fights.
At the Ranger camp,you will probably see them cooking their meals and providing Arbuckle coffee to the many visitors who come by.

The Fire-on-the-Mountain Cloggers from San Antonio are devoted to a dance steeped in American culture history and dedicated to preserving the traditional aspects of clogging by combining intricate footwork with lively bluegrass music.
The team has performed throughout Texas and other states for over twentl years.International performances include shows in Germany,Venezuela as well as International culture festival in Xalapa,Mexico.
Throughout the year Fire-on-the-Mountain Cloggers perform at local exhibitions.
